Volunteer Now. And Make a Lasting Difference.
We need volunteers! As a volunteer at Guardian Angel Hospice, you’ll have many opportunities to help patients and their families during times of tremendous need. And we’ll help you find a role that suits your strengths and your interests. Below are a few of the roles and their main duties.
As you review the opportunities, it may be helpful to keep in mind some of the attributes that contribute to being a successful Guardian Angel volunteer:
- Dependable, compassionate, and a really good listener
- Comfortable talking about death and dying
- A passion for providing comfort to terminally ill patients and their families
- Realization that seemingly small tasks can make a big difference
